Evento “Rescribiendo la memoria de la migración Española: 60 años de presencia española en los Países Bajos”

El Consejo de Residentes Españoles en Países Bajos, en colaboración con el Instituto Cervantes Utrecht, Witte Rook y el Stedelijk Museum Breda, queremos invitaros al evento ‘Rescribiendo la memoria de la migración española: Sesenta años de presencia española en los Países Bajos’ el próximo 14 de mayo a las 11h. en el Instituto Cervantes de Utrecht.

Este evento pretende subrayar la importancia de la comunidad española, y en especial de sus asociaciones, en el desarrollo de la historia social y económica de los Países Bajos. Por ello la mesa redonda culminará con un debate abierto para compartir historias personales o familiares sobre la migración.

Tras el evento ofreceremos unas tapas en el patio del Instituto Cervantes donde podremos conocernos personalmente y hablar en profundidad.

CRE in samenwerking met Instituto Cervantes Utrecht, Witte Rook en Stedelijk Museum Breda, nodigt u uit voor het evenement ‘Herschrijven van de herinnering aan Spaanse migratie: zestig jaar Spaanse aanwezigheid in Nederland’ op zaterdag 14 mei 2022 om 11.00 uur in  Instituto Cervantes de Utrecht.

Bij dit ronde tafel evenement zullen Elena Prado en Carme Nogueira, kunstenaars, een toelichting geven op ‘Brieven uit Spanje’. Een publicatie die deel uitmaakt van hun kunstwerk over het herstel van de herinnering aan de Spanjaarden in Breda. Lucía Lameiro werkt als coördinator bij de Federatie van Migrantenverenigingen (NOOM). Zij zal reflecteren op de geschiedenis van Spaanse migratie en de rol van de verenigingen hierbij. Met Emilia Hernádez Pedrero (DOCK Utrecht) en Fernando Miguel Fernández (Federatie van Verenigingen van Spaanse Migranten in Nederland), die hum kennis deelt over de Spaanse organisaties in Nederland.

Dit evenement benadrukt het belang van de Spaanse gemeenschap en in het bijzonder haar verenigingen, voor de sociale en economische ontwikkeling van Spanjaarden in Nederland. De rondetafel wordt afgesloten met een open debat om persoonlijke of familiale verhalen over migratie met elkaar te delen.

De ronde tafel wordt afgesloten met tapas op de patio van het Instituto Cervantes waar we elkaar persoonlijk kunnen leren kennen en diepgaander kunnen praten.

The Council of Spanish Residents in the Netherlands, in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes Utrecht, Witte Rook and the Stedelijk Museum Breda, would like to invite you to the event ‘Rewriting the memory of the Spanish migrants: Sixty years of Spanish presence in the Netherlands’ next May 14 at 11 a.m. at the Cervantes Institute in Utrecht.

In this round table we will have Elena Prado and Carme Nogueira, artists, migrants and authors of Brieven uit Spanje, a publication that is part of a broad project on the recovery of the memory of the Spaniards in Breda. We will also have the presence of Lucía Lameiro. Lameiro works as coordinator of the Federation of Migrant Associations, belonging to the Federation of Migrant Associations (NOOM), that with Emilia Hernádez Pedrero (coordinator of DOCK Utrecht) en Fernando Miguel Fernández (psychologist and FAEEH) will share their reflections on the Spanish migration of yesterday and the role of the Associations.

This event aims to underline the importance of the Spanish community, and especially its associations, in the development of the social and economic history of the Netherlands. For this reason, the round table also wants to open a space for conversation where personal and family stories about migration can be shared.

After the event, we will offer tapas in the courtyard of the Cervantes Institute where we can meet personally and talk more in depth.
